Aerospace & Defence

The Numis Aerospace & Defence team covers the whole UK sector within a global context. Over the past 17 years it has published a keynote detailed annual review of the sector and its constituent companies which is used by institutions, companies and the Ministry of Defence. It is the longest running document in this sector. The Capital Goods team (which includes Engineering) were voted No.3 in the 2009 Thomson Reuters Extel Survey Awards for small-cap Capital Goods research and were ranked No.1 in the 2008 survey.  The team were also ranked No.2 in the 2008 global FT/Starmine survey for quality of stock recommendations.  During the year the team also produces detailed reviews on each company and holds an annual conference as well as a series of company visits.
