The Support Services sector is one of the largest (in number of stocks) and the most diverse in the UK stock market and contains a number of relatively young companies. The Numis strategy is to cover stock clusters and be a centre of excellence in them (e.g. BPO; distributors; white collar engineering & environmental consultants and blue collar facilities services companies) whilst at the same time being flexible and receptive to researching one-off companies which may have no peers. The Numis Aerospace and Numis Building & Construction research teams also cover a number of stocks in the Support Services sector including defence-related stocks, contractors and merchants.
